Nehemiah 9:6 NIV

You alone are the Lord

John 1:1, 14

relating to or derived from living matter; life animated; instrumental,

forming the integral elements of the whole; of or relating to tissue

The Bible in several places references our God as “The Living God”.  John 1:1, 14 says, In the beginning was the Word, the Word was with God, and THE WORD WAS GOD.  And the WORD BECAME FLESH and DWELT AMONG US.  God reveals His magnificence by infusing Himself into the human condition. His brilliance is put on display as He conducts a reverse-sting operation in the redemption plan of man by dethroning the devil in overthrowing strength through weakness.  This counter-offensive took the enemy by surprise: 1 Corinthians 2:8 says, None of the princes of the world knew; for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.

In the fullness of time God sent forth His Son born of a virgin.  Jesus was the fullness of God’s deity as the Son of God and the fullness of man’s humanity as the Son of Man.  Not only did Jesus fulfill the Messianic Prophesies of Moses and the Prophets, but He completed the commandments of God.  God comprehended all of life on earth from its foundations to everlasting life eternally.  The bookends of time future and past tells the narrative of God’s desire to have a people for His own and for a people to choose Him as their God.  He formed man from the earth in His image and likeness, positioned Him to reign as kings and priests to show forth His excellencies, and to share His glory.  When Creator God formed Adam from the dust of the earth He constructed his being to be inextricably conjoined to all of creation.  Evidence unfolds as the ground is cursed with thorns via man’s fall.  God had to destroy the earth with water because of sin had corrupted His way on the earth.  Moreover, we are informed that all of creation was subjected to the bondage of corruption.  But all of creation awaits the manifestation of the sons of God. (Rom. 8:19-24)  All evil metastasizes itself into all uncrucified flesh then into all creation.  Thus is the reason God became flesh.  So that all flesh could be crucified in Him and all righteousness could be injected into the born again tissue of the temple of the Holy Spirit.

God so loved us that Christ became the Incarnate God.  Fully God, fully man.  A mystery and a miracle. Christ’s conception as the Eternal Word gave Him passage through our weaknesses to carry our sorrows, bear our griefs, and face our judgments.  The Organic God experienced the human condition in every way, shape, and form possible leaving nothing unknown except compromise to sins’ corruption.  He knew no sin but became sin.  He never crossed the threshold of sins committed but He did have iniquities laid on Him for us all.   Jesus took temptation to the very precipice then walked it back to the foundation of the world and said, “There’s the scope of your freedom.”  Be of good cheer, I have overcome this world.

Messianic Jewish author Margret Feinberg wrote: What does it look like to enter into someone’s life?  To embrace without hesitance? To be fully human? It looks like Jesus.  The Organic God extends a bighearted invitation, one that says, “I will not only go before you in the journey and make it possible—I will also go with you.”

The veil of the Temple was torn top to bottom when of His flesh opened a new and living way for us as the Organic God.  The Son of God permitted the divinity and holiness of God to experience the frailty and humanity of all men.  The Son of Man permitted the sons of Adam to experience being partakers of God’s divine nature through the body prepared and offered as a sacrifice.  Jesus the Organic God, became the face of God to behold, the hand of God to be held, and the walk of God for those so loved to follow in His footsteps. If you’ve seen Me you’ve seen the Father, said Jesus.  This is essential for our spiritual maturation in the Spirit, as well as, our transformation in life.  The Apostle John wrote, By this you know the Spirit of God; Every spirit that confesses Jesus has come in the flesh is of God, and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. (1 Jn. 4:2-3)

The Living God is touched with the feeling of our infirmities.  His human body was quickened by the Spirit of holiness to raise Him from the dead. (Rom. 1:4; 8:11)  Jesus does not have life, He is Life!  His animated life in a vessel of clay allowed Him to experience life as we do and understand our weaknesses with the understanding we have and beyond.  Adam was made a living soul, but Jesus became a living-giving Spirit. (1 Cor. 15:45)  In Him we live and have our being as claymation characters formed in His image and animated by His Spirit.

Today we journey into some of the most basic needs as human beings.  As we do we consider the Organic God who became flesh.  Unto us a child was born (Christ’s humanity); unto us a Son was given (Christ’s divinity).  Our endeavor is to cause the connective tissue of a heart of flesh to reconnect how we were formed and why He came in the flesh.  We are to re-member Him in His death.  For without death there is no resurrection for all things made new.  Psalm 107:43 says, Whoever is wise, let him heed these things and consider the great love of God.

The Creator God has entrusted all of creation to man as a stewardship of his delegated dominion.  Creation is waiting for us allow the same spirit that raised Jesus from the dead to give life to our mortal bodies to be offered as living sacrifices.  Jesus with skin again!  Our quest is to return to the union of communion in the Garden in the cool of the day in intimacy at the deepest levels between God and man.  To facilitate the new community established for us in His body.  Each member functions as designed and becomes living stones to build a spiritual house for Spirit— habitation.  We revisit the Organic God to show that we have this treasure in earth vessels of clay.  That we consider some basic elements of the human experience to remind us of our dependence of Him and display His experience in us so that the world can again study us in our Incarnate Word Ministry.  Let us pray in the spirit and with understanding to give interpretation to the Organic God. (1 Cor. 14:14-15)

God will answer our prayers beyond what we expect.  He will give us what we ask for and—He’ll give us Himself—in the process.  The Living God will be instrumental in every living matter.

  1. HUNGER and THIRST

Psalm 63:1, 5 NASB

O, GOD, You are my God; I shall seek You earnestly;
My soul THIRSTS for You, my flesh yearns for You,
In a dry and weary land where there is no water.

My soul is satisfied as with marrow and fatness,
And my mouth offers praises with joyful lips.

Matthew 5:6; 4:4 KJV

Blessed are they which do HUNGER and THIRST FOR RIGHTEOUSNESS: for they shall be filled.

…Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

General Direction:  To understand that the basic needs of life all point to our need of God’s person and presence; to beware of substitutes that spoil our appetite for God and quench our thirst for living water; to realize that when we do the right things, for the right reasons, in the right way it creates a healthy hunger and thirst that causes us to be whole and holy before God and man.

  • 35 And Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst. 27 Do not labor for the food which perishes, but for the food which endures to everlasting life, which the Son of Man will give you, because God the Father has set His seal on Him.” 53 Then Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in you.54 Whoever eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. 55 For My flesh is food indeed, and My blood is drink indeed. 56 He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood abides in Me, and I in him. 57 As the living Father sent Me, and I live because of the Father, so he who feeds on Me will live because of Me.58 This is the bread which came down from heaven—not as your fathers ate the manna, and are dead. He who eats this bread will live forever.”–Jn. 6:35, 27, 53-58 NKJV
  • 8 Oh, taste and see that the Lordis good;Blessed is the man who trusts in Him! –Ps. 34:8 NKJV
  • 13 But as for me, when they were sick,My clothing was sackcloth;I humbled myself with fasting;And my prayer would return to my own heart. –Ps. 35:13 NKJV
  • 10 When I wept and chastened my soul with fasting,That became my reproach. –Ps. 69:10 NKJV
  • 5 and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come, –Heb. 6:5 NKJV
  • 5 Hungry and thirsty,Their soul fainted in them. 9 For He satisfies the longing soul,And fills the hungry soul with goodness.  35 He turns a wilderness into pools of water,And dry land into watersprings. 36 There He makes the hungry dwell,That they may establish a city for a dwelling place,37 And sow fields and plant vineyards,That they may yield a fruitful harvest. –Ps. 107:5, 9, 35-37 NKJV
  • 11 The Lord will guide you continually,And satisfy your soul in drought,And strengthen your bones;You shall be like a watered garden,And like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail. –Is. 58:11 NKJV
  • 4 Indeed you fast for strife and debate, And to strike with the fist of wickedness. You will not fast as you do this day, To make your voice heard on high. 5 Is it a fast that I have chosen, A day for a man to afflict his soul? Is it to bow down his head like a bulrush, And to spread out sackcloth and ashes? Would you call this a fast, And an acceptable day to the Lord? 6 “Is this not the fast that I have chosen: To loose the bonds of wickedness, To undo the heavy burdens, To let the oppressed go free, And that you break every yoke? 7 Is it not to share your bread with the hungry, And that you bring to your house the poor who are cast out; When you see the naked, that you cover him, And not hide yourself from your own flesh? 8 Then your light shall break forth like the morning, Your healing shall spring forth speedily, And your righteousness shall go before you; The glory of the Lord shall be your rear guard. 9 Then you shall call, and the Lord will answer; You shall cry, and He will say, ‘Here I am.’ “If you take away the yoke from your midst, The pointing of the finger, and speaking wickedness, –Is. 58:4-9 NKJV

  • 10 Jesus answered and said to her, “If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you, ‘Give Me a drink,’ you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water.”. 13 Jesus answered and said to her, “Whoever drinks of this water will thirst again,14 but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.” –Jn. 4:10, 13-14 NKJV
  • 37 On the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink.38 He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.” –Jn. 7:37-38 NKJV
  • 17 for the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne will shepherd them and lead them to living fountains of waters.[a] And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.” –Rev. 7:17 NKJV
  • 2 In the middle of its street, and on either side of the river, was the tree of life, which bore twelve fruits, each tree yielding its fruit every month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. 17 And the Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let him who hears say, “Come!” And let him who thirsts come. Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely. –Rev. 22:2, 17 NKJV
  • 17 But you, when you fast, anoint your head and wash your face,18 so that you do not appear to men to be fasting, but to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly. –Mt. 6:17-18 NKJV
  • Then Jesus, being filled with the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan and was led by the Spirit into[a] the wilderness, 2 being tempted for forty days by the devil. And in those days He ate nothing, and afterward, when they had ended, He was hungry. 14 Then Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit to Galilee, and news of Him went out through all the surrounding region. –Lk. 4:1-2; 14 NKJV
  • 2 As they ministered to the Lord and fasted, the Holy Spirit said, “Now separate to Me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.” 3 Then, having fasted and prayed, and laid hands on them, they sent them away. –Acts 13:2-3 NKJV
  • 23 So when they had appointed elders in every church, and prayed with fasting, they commended them to the Lord in whom they had believed. –Acts 14:23 NKJV
  • “It is not desirable that we should leave the word of God and serve tables. 3 Therefore, brethren, seek out from among you seven men of good reputation, full of the Holy Spirit and wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business; 4 but we will give ourselves continually to prayer and to the ministry of the word.” –Acts. 6:2-4 NKJV
  • 19 And Jesus said to them, “Can the friends of the bridegroom fast while the bridegroom is with them? • Now on the twenty-fourth day of this month the children of Israel were assembled with fasting, in sackcloth, and with dust on their heads. –Neh. 9:1 NKJV

Prayer Points:

  • That God created food and water as a reminder of our absolute need and dependency on Him as spiritual food and drink.
  • That man shall not live by bread alone but by the Words that proceed from God’s mouth.
  • That the one word that can cause intimate devotion and create collective revival is “hunger”.
  • That we spoil our appetite for God when we feed on the carnal things of the flesh and this world.
  • That the enemy offers us counterfeits and substitutes for the real nutrition of God’s bread and the Spirit’s living water.
  • That we can do things to create spiritual hunger and thirst such as pouring out our hearts in prayer and ministry and cause fasting to become feasting in the realm of the Spirit.
  • That we always remember that all of our fountains are in God and we should never dig wells with cracks.
  • That when we provide the fruit of the Spirit the world will taste and see the Lord is good from us.
  • That prayer and fasting is the master key that unlocks doors where all others have failed.

  1. LOVE and ACCEPTANCE

Ephesians 1:4, 6 NKJV

He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love,

…by which He made us accepted in the Beloved.

(v.5)  IN LOVE he predestined us for adoption as sons through Jesus Christ according to the purpose of his will. (ESV)

Song of Solomon 6:3

I am my beloved’s, and my beloved is mine;

I am my beloved’s, and his desire is towards me.

General Direction: To understand via the Spirit of wisdom and revelation that love and acceptance are two of the most fundamental needs of a human being; to grasp that God cannot love us anymore or any less than He does in Christ; for us to freely give we have freely receive and love others with the love He gives us.

  • 5 Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us. 8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.–Rom. 5:5, 8 NKJV
  • 31 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32 He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? 33 Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies. 34 Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us. 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36 As it is written:
  • “For Your sake we are killed all day long;We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.” 37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. 38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, 39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. –Rom. 8:31-39 NKJV
  • 16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. –Jn. 3:16 NKJV
  • 3 The Lord has appeared of old to me, saying:“Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love;Therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you. –Jer. 31:3 NKJV
  • 11 Finally, brethren, farewell. Become complete. Be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace will be with you. 14 The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen. –2 Cor. 13:11, 14 NKJV
  • 17 that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, 18 may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height— 19 to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. –Eph. 3:17-19 NKJV
  • 2 And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma. –Eph. 5:2 NKJV
  • Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God![a] Therefore the world does not know us,[b] because it did not know Him. 2 Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. 3 And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure. –1 Jn. 3:1-3 NKJV
  • 7 Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. 8 He who does not love does not know God, for God is love. 10 In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. 11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.12 No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God abides in us, and His love has been perfected in us. 13 By this we know that we abide in Him, and He in us, because He has given us of His Spirit. 14 And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent the Son as Savior of the world. 15 Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God. 16 And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him.17 Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world. 18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love. 19 We love Him[a] because He first loved us. –1 Jn. 4:7-8; 10-19 NKJV
  • 21 keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. –Jude 21 NKJV
  • 19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent. –Rev. 3:19 NKJV
  • 14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. 15 For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.” 16 The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, –Rom. 8:14-16 NKJV
  • 6 And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying out, “Abba, Father!” 7 Therefore you are no longer a slave but a son, and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ. –Gal. 4:6-7 NKJV
  • 2 For He says:“In an acceptable time I have heard you,And in the day of salvation I have helped you.” Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation. –2 Cor. 6:2 NKJV

Prayer Points:

  • That we would grow to comprehend and mature in God’s love knowing that it is one of the most basic needs we have as human beings.
  • To fully receive the acceptance of God in Christ to break off rejections and the need for men’s praise and approval.
  • That we are to keep ourselves in the sphere of God’s love and never allow competing loves or the need to be accepted by others to sabotage our love for God.
  • To know that God cannot love as anymore or any less in Christ.
  • To learn to live by the law of love not the love of law. (grace/mercy vs. legalism/religion in form)
  • To understand that we are commanded, not to love only those who love us or love the best we can, but love the way God loves us in Christ.
  • To live knowing we cannot give something we have not received, so we must abide in the love of God and freely give as we have freely received.

  1. COMMUNION and COMMUNITY

Genesis 2:7; 3:8 NKJV

And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground,

And they heard the voice of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day…

Jeremiah 30:20 NIV

…and their COMMUNITY will be established before Me;

Acts 2:42, 44 (The Voice)

The community continually committed themselves to learning what the apostles

taught them, gathering for fellowship, breaking bread, and praying.

There was an INTENSE SENSE OF TOGETHERNESS among all who believed;

they shared all their material possessions in trust.

1 Corinthians 11:24 NKJV

This is My body… broken for you;

…re-member Me.

General Direction:  To comprehend with all the saints that we were created for relationship with God and with one another; to know that God commands His blessing where there is unity among the brethren and our oneness will be a witness to the world that God the Father sent His Son; that we are Christ’s body with different members functioning together to re-member Christ for the world to see.

  • Behold, how good and how pleasant it is For brethren to dwell together in unity! 2 It is like the precious oil upon the head, Running down on the beard, The beard of Aaron, Running down on the edge of his garments. 3 It is like the dew of Hermon, Descending upon the mountains of Zion; For there the Lord commanded the blessing— Life forevermore. –Ps. 133:1-3 NKJV
  • 33 Do not be deceived: “Evil company corrupts good habits.” –1 Cor. 15:33 NKJV
  • 12 For as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, so also is Christ. 13 For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free—and have all been made to drink into[a] one Spirit. 14 For in fact the body is not one member but many. 15 If the foot should say, “Because I am not a hand, I am not of the body,” is it therefore not of the body? 16 And if the ear should say, “Because I am not an eye, I am not of the body,” is it therefore not of the body? 17 If the whole body were an eye, where would be the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where would be the smelling? 18 But now God has set the members, each one of them, in the body just as He pleased. 19 And if they were all one member, where would the body be? 20 But now indeed there are many members, yet one body. 23 And those members of the body which we think to be less honorable, on these we bestow greater honor; and our unpresentable parts have greater modesty, 24 but our presentable parts have no need. But God composed the body, having given greater honor to that part which lacks it, 25 that there should be no schism in the body, but that the members should have the same care for one another. 26 And if one member suffers, all the members suffer with it; or if one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it. 1 Cor. 12:12-20, 23-26 NKJV
  • 14 The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen. –2 Cor. 13:14 NKJV
  • 9 Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good.10 Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves.11 Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. 12 Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. 13 Share with the Lord’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality. –Rom. 12:9-13 NIV
  • 19 Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, 20 having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone, 21 in whom the whole building, being fitted together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord, 22 in whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit. –Eph. 2:19-22 NKJV
  • 15 from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,–Eph. 3:15 NKJV
  • I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called, 2 with all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love, 3 endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. 4 There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling; 5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism; 6 one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. –Eph. 4:1-6 NKJV
  • 50 For whoever does the will of My Father in heaven is My brother and sister and mother.” –Mt. 12:50 NKJV
  • 15 that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world, –Phil. 2:15 NKJV
  • 7 But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin. 9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. –1 Jn. 1:7, 9 NKJV
  • Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! Therefore the world does not know us,[b] because it did not know Him. –1 Jn. 3:1 NKJV
  • 12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: –Jn. 1:12 NKJV
  • 18 “I will be a Father to you,And you shall be My sons and daughters,Says the Lord” –2 Cor. 6:18 NKJV
  • 8 And above all things have fervent love for one another, for “love will cover a multitude of sins.”9 Be hospitable to one another without grumbling. 10 As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. –1 Pet. 4:8-10 NKJV
  • 17 For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the end of those who do not obey the gospel of God? –1 Pet. 4:17 NKJV
  • 3 And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. 4 And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.”5 Then He who sat on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.” And He said to me, “Write, for these words are true and faithful.” –Rev. 21:3-5 NKJV

Genesis 1:26 -28 TLV

Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, after Our likeness!

…God created humankind in His image, in the image of God He created him,

male and female He created them.  God blessed them and God said to them,

“Be fruitful and multiply, fill the land, and conquer it.”

Isaiah 46:9-10 Amp.

“Remember [carefully] the former things [which I did] from ages past;
For I am God, and there is no one else;
I am God, and there is no one like Me,
Declaring the end and the result from the beginning,
And from ancient times the things which have not [yet] been done,
Saying, ‘My purpose WILL BE ESTABLISHED,
And I will do all that pleases Me and FULFILLS MY PURPOSE,’

  1. ORIGINS and DESTINIES

Genesis 2:7-8 NKJV

And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life;

and man became a living being. The Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden,

and there He put the man whom He had formed.

Psalm 139:13-16 NKJV

For You formed my inward parts;
You covered me in my mother’s womb.
I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
Marvelous are Your works,
And that my soul knows very well.
My frame was not hidden from You,
When I was made in secret,
And skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.

Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed.
And in Your book they all were written,
The days fashioned for me,
When as yet there were none of them.

Revelation 5:9-10 CJB

“You are worthy to take the scroll and break its seals;
because you were slaughtered;
at the cost of blood you ransomed for God
persons from every tribe, language, people and nation.
You made them into a kingdom for God to rule,
cohanim to serve him;
and they will rule over the earth.”

General Direction: To understand that everything created originated in the mind of God who comprehended the end from the beginning and has destined us in Christ to reign with Him as kings and priests.

  • 10 As the rain and the snow come down from heaven,and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish,so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater,11 so is my word that goes out from my mouth:It will not return to me empty,but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it. –Is. 55:10-11 NIV
  • 9 But you are a chosen people, the King’s cohanim, a holy nation, a people for God to possess! Why? In order for you to declare the praises of the One who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. –1 Pet. 2:9 CJB
  • 19 You will say to me then, “Why does He still find fault? For who resists His will?”20 On the contrary, who are you, O man, who answers back to God? The thing molded will not say to the molder, “Why did you make me like this,” will it? 21 Or does not the potter have a right over the clay, to make from the same lump one vessel for honorable use and another for common use? –Rom. 9:19-21 NASB
  • 3 Then I went down to the potter’s house, and there he was, making something at the wheel. 4 And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter; so he made it again into another vessel, as it seemed good to the potter to make. 5 Then the word of the Lord came to me, saying: 6 “O house of Israel, can I not do with you as this potter?” says the Lord. “Look, as the clay is in the potter’s hand, so are you in My hand, O house of Israel! –Jer. 18:3-6 NKJV
  • 4 Then the word of the Lord came to me, saying: 5 “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified you;
    I ordained you a prophet to the nations.” 9 Then the Lord put forth His hand and touched my mouth, and the Lord said to me: “Behold, I have put My words in your mouth. 10 See, I have this day set you over the nations and over the kingdoms, To root out and to pull down, To destroy and to throw down, To build and to plant.” 11 Moreover the word of the Lord came to me, saying, “Jeremiah, what do you see?” And I said, “I see a branch of an almond tree.” 12 Then the Lord said to me, “You have seen well, for I am ready to perform My word.” –Jer 1:4-5, 9-12 NKJV
  • 19 Nevertheless the solid foundation of God stands, having this seal: “The Lord knows those who are His,” and, “Let everyone who names the name of Christ[a] depart from iniquity.” 20 But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay, some for honor and some for dishonor. 21 Therefore if anyone cleanses himself from the latter, he will be a vessel for honor, sanctified and useful for the Master, prepared for every good work. – 2 Tim. 2:19-21 NKJV
  • 24 Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize.25 Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last, but we do it to get a crown that will last forever.26 Therefore I do not run like someone running aimlessly; I do not fight like a boxer beating the air. 27 No, I strike a blow to my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize. –1 Cor. 9:24-27 NIV
  • 48 So when they saw Him, they were amazed; and His mother said to Him, “Son, why have You done this to us? Look, Your father and I have sought You anxiously.” 49 And He said to them, “Why did you seek Me? Did you not know that I must be about My Father’s business?” –Lk. 2:48-49 NKJV

  • 4 What is man that You are mindful of him,And the son of man that You visit him?5 For You have made him a little lower than the angels, And You have crowned him with glory and honor.6 You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands;You have put all things under his feet,7 All sheep and oxen—Even the beasts of the field,8 The birds of the air,And the fish of the sea That pass through the paths of the seas. –Ps. 8:4-8 NKJV
