Online Prayer, THE SEED IS IN ITSELF, November 8, 2017

*Five Keys to Unlock Everything You Need

Genesis 1:11; 8:22

And God said, Let the earth bring forth…. YIELDING SEED and the fruit tree YIELDING FRUIT after his kind,

WHOSE SEED IS IN ITSELF, upon the earth: and it was so.

While the earth remains, SEEDTIME AND HARVEST…shall not cease.

Zechariah 8:12

For the SEED SHALL BE PROSPEROUS; the VINE SHALL GIVE HER FRUIT; and the GROUND SHALL GIVE HER INCREASE and the heavens shall give her dew; and I will cause the remnant of this people to POSSESS ALL THESE THINGS.

Introduction:

Everything in creation is encoded from its Creator to be fruitful, multiply, and replenish the earth.  God created the Garden for man then created the Garden in the man then gave man stewardship over both to cultivate, keep, and cause to increase as designed.  Everything flows from and through the Law of Harvest. It is a universal principle that cannot be denied or avoided.

God is the Source, “For of Him and to Him and through Him are all things”. (Rom. 11:36)  Mankind has the transfer of garden stewardship as a trust.  The principle of the “yielding seed” extents and expands all life and sustains habitation on the planet.  As those created in God’s own image and likeness we are given purpose in life and living for reason.  Each of us are encoded with invisible instructions to subdue the earth, have dominion, procreate, and reproduce as commanded.  As those fearfully and wonderfully crafted in our construct we possess the capacity to grow, know, and mature; find purpose in innovation and resolutions; and fulfill the potential measured to us as we unfold it and implement it.  This gift of life potential comes directly to us: “The Spirit of God has made me, the breath of the Almighty has given me life.” (Job 33:4)

Encapsulated in every seed is the hidden instruction to yield.  Apple seeds will never reproduce tomato seeds nor vice versa.  One cannot see the instructions even under a microscope.  Yet, the mystery of the instructions becomes evident as they become known by their fruit.  Moreover, one can tell how many seeds are in an apple but who can tell how many apples are in a seed.  That’s undiscovered yield!

Sowing and reaping encompasses all Time, Talent, and Treasure.  Many in churches instantly default to thinking about money in this matter.  However, the Law of Harvest and the Principle of The Yielding Seed touches every aspect of our existence leaving nothing untouched   .  The apex of God’s pleasure is when we learn to bear much fruit.  The secret of our treasure is experiencing the fullness of the measure of the stature given to us in Christ.

When Jesus taught the Parable of the Sower, New Testament Scholars inform us that, it was the Arching Parable.  For its span was first and covered all the other parables.  Mark 4:2-20 tells us it was the “parable of parables” as Jesus told us “If you do not understand this parable how will you understand all parables?”  A parable is an earthly illustration revealing a heavenly reality.  Jesus went on to say “Unto you is given the mysteries of the kingdom of God” (Mk. 4:11).  At the end of our journey from here to eternity the all-encompassing, all-inclusive, most comprehensive essential question will be:  What did you do with what God gave you?  Moreover it is required in stewards that a man be found faithful. (1 Cor. 4:2)

Above and beyond worldly applause, personal achievements, man-made awards, 401k’s and cushy retirements.  Our greatest goal should be to hear Jesus say, “Well done, good and faithful servant.  Because you have been faithful with the little things, I will give you charge over much.  Enter unto the joy of your Lord.  For to everyone who has, more will be given, and he will have abundance; but to him who does not have (the measure of yield and increase), even what he has will be taken away. (Mt. 25:21, 29)

Our purpose today is to pray into the five keys of the yielding seed.  Once we hear and understand the mystery of the seed is in itself and how that relates to our past, present, and future we will gain a new perspective on life and stewardship of the seed.  The 5 keys we are unpacking for purposes in earth and eternity are:

  • The SOURCE
  • The SUBSTANCE
  • The SEED
  • The SOIL
  • The SUPPLY

Each of these are essential in unlocking everything we need and none can be left unattended if we desire to have life and life more abundantly.  The yield of the seed is weighed by how much we have yielded in the five phases of production.

  1. The SOURCE

James 1:16-17 NIV

Do not be deceived, my dear brothers.  Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.

Matthew 7:11 NLT

So if you sinful people know how to give good gifts to your children, HOW MUCH MORE WILL YOUR HEAVENLY FATHER GIVE GOOD GIFTS TO THOSE WHO ASK HIM?

General Direction:  To realize that God is our Source and Supply in all things; nothing we have belongs to us but has been given as a trust; that God will never give us something that will replace Himself; the awareness that to whom much is given, much is required and we are blessed to be a blessing

Scriptures:

  • 28 Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.29 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” –Mt. 11: 28-30 NKJV
  • After these things the word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision, saying, “Do not be afraid, Abram. I am your shield, your exceedingly great reward.” –Gen. 15:1 NKJV
  • 14 And Abraham called the name of the place, The-Lord-Will-Provide; as it is said to this day, “In the Mount of the Lord it shall be provided.” –Gen. 22:14 NKJV
  • 13 Jesus answered and said to her, “Whoever drinks of this water will thirst again,14 but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.” –Jn. 4:13-14 NKJV
  • 19 And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. –Phil 4:19 NKJV
  • 21 His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’ –Mt. 25:21 NKJV
  • 8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give. Mt. 10:8 NKJV
  • 7 Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. 8 For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life. 9 And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. –Gal. 6:7-9 NKJV
  • Honor the Lord with your possessions, And with the firstfruits of all your increase; 10 So your barns will be filled with plenty, And your vats will overflow with new wine. –Pro. 3:9-10 NKJV
  • 2 And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, because you obey the voice of the Lord your God:  12 The Lord will open to you His good treasure, the heavens, to give the rain to your land in its season, and to bless all the work of your hand. You shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow.  16 “Cursed shall you be in the city, and cursed shall you be in the country.–Deut. 28:2, 12, 16 NKJV
  • By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples. –Jn. 15:8 NKJV
  • 21 His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’—Mt. 25:21 NKJV
  • 32 For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. –Mt. 6:32-33 NKJV
  • Trust in the Lordwith all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; 6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths. –Pro. 3:5-6 NKJV
  • 14 Guard the good deposit that was entrusted to you—guard it with the help of the Holy Spirit who lives in us. –2 Tim. 1:14 NIV
  • 15 Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world. 17 And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever. –1 Jn. 2:15-17 NKJV

Prayer Points:

  • For us to understand that we are not to have faith in faith itself, but faith in God—not in our ability to believe but in God’s ability to supply.
  • For a greater revelation that we have nothing and everything we have has been given to us as a trust.
  • For an understanding that God will always put us in places where we must trust Him and depend in Him as our
  • For an awareness that God owns the cattle of 1, 000 hills and all the gold and silver under them, that He does not need anything we have, rather desires to give us greater responsibilities and riches to establish His covenant, spread His Gospel, and be a blessing.
  • For prophetic knowledge that God and God alone is our supply and every good and perfect gift is from Him.
  • For an awakening that God is our Source and Reward, not the things this world or its rewards.
  • For a sense of stewardship in what we reproduce and in what we’ve been given determines the greater reward.

  1. The SUBSTANCE

Hebrews 11:1, 6 NKJV

NOW FAITH IS THE SUBSTANCE of things hoped for, the EVIDENCE of things not seen.

For WITHOUT FAITH IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO PLEASE GOD; for those who come to Him MUST BELIEVE THAT HE EXISTS,

and that HE IS A REWARDER of those who diligently seek Him.

General Direction: To realize that faith is a heavenly, eternal principle that even God Himself does not operate outside of; that faith is the first requirement of coming to God and believing in God is last threshold of receiving God’s reward; that doubt and unbelief are robbers of reward and that faith can be increased by hearing the word of faith, praying in the Spirit, and grows with use.

Scriptures:

  • 22 So Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God.23 For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.24 Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.—Mk. 11:22-24 NKJV
  • 8 I tell you that He will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?” –Lk. 18:8 NKJV
  • 17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. –Rom. 10:17 NKJV
  • 23 But he who doubts is condemned if he eats, because he does not eat from faith; for whatever is not from faith is sin. –Rom. 14:23 NKJV
  • 6 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any value. The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love –Gal. 5:6 NIV
  • 17 Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead. –Jam. 2:17 NKJV
  • 5 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. 6 But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. 7 For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; 8 he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways. –Jam. 1:5-8 NKJV
  • 28 Then they said to Him, “What shall we do, that we may work the works of God?”
  • 29 Jesus answered and said to them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent.” –Jn. 6:28-29 NKJV
  • 16 above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. –Eph. 6:16 NKJV
  • Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have.peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, –Rom. 5:1 NKJV
  • 13 Then Jesus said to the centurion, “Go your way; and as you have believedso let it be done for you.”And his servant was healed that same hour. –Mt. 8:13 NKJV
  • 19 So Jesus arose and followed him, and so did His disciples. –Mt. 9:19 NKJV
  • 20 So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you. –Mt. 17:20 NKJV
  • 12 that you do not become sluggish, but imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises. –Heb. 6:12 NKJV
  • 20 But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, 21 keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. –Jude 20-21 NKJV

Prayer Points:

  • That there is no heavenward plain nor place of maturity where faith will not be required and without trust in God’s promise and Person alone.
  • That where there is no faith in giving there is no pleasure with God nor riches stored.
  • That nothing leaves heaven until something leaves earth; God will release what He’s holding for you when you release what you’re holding from Him by faith and obedience.
  • That faith is a heavenly, eternal reality that even God Himself does not violate and therefore faith with obedience is either—the code of entry or denied access to everything that pertains to life and goodliness.
  • That the measure of faith is the measure of the harvest received—according to your faith be it unto you.
  • That most of the time reaping requires patience and prevailing faith for the process of seedtime and harvest.
  • That doubt and unbelief with a double-mind will disqualify us from receiving.
  • That faith can be grown, strengthened to maturity by hearing the word of faith, praying in our most holy faith, and the law of use.

  1. The SEED

2 Corinthians 9:10, 6-9 NIV

Now (God) who supplies seed to the sower…

will also supply and increase your store of seed

Remember this whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously.

Each man should give what he has decided in his hear to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.  And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things of all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.

General Direction: To understand the principle of “the seed within itself”; that every seed is encoded with hidden instructions to reproduce, multiply, and increase; that the law of harvest transcends everything and involves all things.

Scriptures:

  • 9 You are cursed with a curse, For you have robbed Me, Even this whole nation. 10 Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, That there may be food in My house, And try Me now in this,” Says the Lord of hosts, “If I will not open for you the windows of heaven And pour out for you such blessing That there will not be room enough to receive it. 11 “And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, So that he will not destroy the fruit of your ground, Nor shall the vine fail to bear fruit for you in the field,” Says the Lord of hosts; 12 “And all nations will call you blessed, For you will be a delightful land,” Says the Lord of hosts. –Mal. 3:9-12 NKJV
  • 38 Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.” –Lk. 6:38 NKJV
  • 6 He who continually goes forth weeping,Bearing seed for sowing, Shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, Bringing his sheaves with him. –Ps. 126:6 NKJV
  • 10 Now may He who supplies seed to the sower, and bread for food, supply and multiply the seed you have sown and increase the fruits of your righteousness, –2 Cor. 9:10 NKJV
  • 6 Let him who is taught the word share in all good things with him who teaches. 7 Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. 8 For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life. 9 And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. –Gal. 6: 6-9 NKJV
  • 26 Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion… 27 So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. 28 Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion… over every living thing that moves on the earth.” –Gen. 1:26-28 NKJV
  • 14 I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well. 15 My frame was not hidden from You, When I was made in secret, And skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. 16 Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed. And in Your book they all were written, The days fashioned for me, When as yet there were none of them. –Ps. 139:14-16 NKJV
  • 11 Then God said, “Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb that yields seed, and the fruit tree that yields fruit according to its kind, whose seed is in itself, on the earth”; and it was so. –Gen. 1:11 NKJV
  • 22 “While the earth remains, Seedtime and harvest, Cold and heat, Winter and summer, And day and night Shall not cease.” –Gen. 8:2 NKJV
  • 13 Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends. –Jn. 15:13 NKJV

Prayer Points:

  • For understanding that greater warfare spiritual intensifies just before the birth of a miracle or the final harvest in due season.
  • For the revelation that kingdom-sowing is giving something you have in order to create something you’ve been promised.
  • For us to learn that God loves a cheerful giver, therefore, we should always check our attitude in giving.
  • For the knowledge of the “committed seed” and not until a seed is sown can a harvest be expected.
  • For the realization that every seed is divinely encoded with hidden heavenly instructions to produce after its kind.
  • For the awareness of the law of harvest that we reap:
    • What we sow,
    • Where we sow
    • More that more sowed.
    • In a different season
  • For the prophetic insight of “the seed in in itself” and that God in giving seed to sowers increases our storehouse of need so that we will experience His ALL in Everything (See 2 Cor. 9:6-11)
    • All Grace
    • All Things
    • All Times
    • All that we need
    • In Every-way
    • On ALL OCCASIONS in EVERY GOOD WORK

  1. The SOIL

Matthew 13:23; Luke 8:15 NKJV

But he who received seed on the good ground is he who hears the word and understands it, who indeed bears fruit and produces: some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty…they keep it and bear fruit with patience.

1 Corinthians 3:8, 7 NKJV

Now he who plants and he who waters are one, and each one will receive his own reward according to his own labor…

but God who gives the increase.

General Direction:  To understand that the soil holds the master key to unlocking the level of the harvest at 30, 60, or 100 fold; that the condition of the soil can permit the seed to be stolen, wither once planted, or be chocked to unfruitfulness because of thorns; to understand the co-op of God and the farmer and uncultivated ground.

Scriptures:

  • The earth is the Lord’s, and all its fullness, The world and those who dwell therein. –Ps. 24:1 NKJV
  • 7 And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being. 8 The Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden, and there He put the man whom He had formed. 9 And out of the ground the Lord God made every tree grow that is pleasant to the sight and good for food. The tree of life was also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. –Gen 2:7-9 NKJV
  • 18 Both thorns and thistles it shall bring forth for you, And you shall eat the herb of the field. –Gen. 3:18 NKJV
  • 7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us. –2 Cor. 4:7 NKJV
  • 35 I have shown you in every way, by laboring like this, that you must support the weak. And remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’” –Acts 20:35 NKJV
  • 33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. –Mt. 6:33 NKJV
  • 12 Sow for yourselves righteousness; Reap in mercy; Break up your fallow ground, For it is time to seek the Lord, Till He comes and rains righteousness on you. 13 You have plowed wickedness; You have reaped iniquity. You have eaten the fruit of lies, Because you trusted in your own way, In the multitude of your mighty men. –Hos. 10:12-13 NKJV
  • 18 Now these are the ones sown among thorns; they are the ones who hear the word,19 and the cares of this world, the deceitfulness of riches, and the desires for other things entering in choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful. 20 But these are the ones sown on good ground, those who hear the word, accept it, and bear fruit: some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some a hundred.” –Mk. 4: 18-20 NKJV
  • 3 For thus says the Lord to the men of Judah and Jerusalem: “Break up your fallow ground, And do not sow among thorns. Jer. 4:3 NKJV
  • 5 Thus says the Lord:“Cursed is the man who trusts in manAnd makes flesh his strength,Whose heart departs from the Lord.6 For he shall be like a shrub in the desert, And shall not see when good comes, But shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, In a salt land which is not inhabited. 7 “Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, And whose hope is the Lord. 8 For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, Which spreads out its roots by the river, And will not fear when heat comes; But its leaf will be green, And will not be anxious in the year of drought, Nor will cease from yielding fruit. –Jer. 17:5-8 NKJV
  • Blessed is the man Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly,Nor stands in the path of sinners,Nor sits in the seat of the scornful;2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord,And in His law he meditates day and night.3 He shall be like a tree Planted by the rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper. –Ps. 1:1-3 NKJV
  • 23 But Jesus answered them, saying, “The hour has come that the Son of Man should be glorified.24 Most assuredly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much grain. 25 He who loves his life will lose it, and he who hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life. 26 If anyone serves Me, let him follow Me; and where I am, there My servant will be also. If anyone serves Me, him My Father will honor. –Jn. 12:23-26 NKJV
  • 5 Therefore put to death your members which are on the earth: fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry. –Col. 3:5 NKJV
  • 24 Then the king said to Araunah, “No, but I will surely buy it from you for a price; nor will I offer burnt offerings to the Lord my God with that which costs me nothing.” So David bought the threshing floor and the oxen for fifty shekels of silver. –2 Sam. 24:24 NKJV
  • 24 Then King David said to Ornan, “No, but I will surely buy it for the full price, for I will not take what is yours for the Lord, nor offer burnt offerings with that which costs me nothing.” –1 Chron. 21:24 NKJV

Prayer Points:

  • Farmer/God Co-op: The farmer cannot do what only God can do—Increase: God will not do what only the farmer should do –“Plant and Water”.
  • The Gardener always looks for fruit, prunes for more fruit, and expects much fruit from the branches.
  • The condition of the soil will determine the count of the harvest.
  • The breaking up of uncultivated ground so seed can be sown and harvest can be known.
  • The removal of thorny ground:
    • Cares of this life
    • Deceitfulness of riches
    • Pleasures of this world
  • The irrigated soil/recycling of planted seed into “good” soil (righteous, holy, true) in “noble” soil (courageous, unrelenting, pure).
  • The understanding the soil of generosity and it is more blessed to give than to receive.
  • The sabotage of covetousness, the idolatry of Mammon, and the bondage of greed and selfishness.
  • The revelation of never offering God something that costs us nothing.

  1. The SUPPLY

Philippians 4:19

My God SHALL SUPPLY all your need according to His riches in glory through Christ Jesus.

2 Cor. 9:10-11 NIV

Now He who SUPPLIES SEED TO THE SOWER…will ALSO SUPPLY AND INCREASE your STORE OF SEED and ENLARGE YOUR HARVEST of your righteousness.

You will be made rich in every way so that you CAN BE GENEROUS ON EVERY OCCASION, and through us your GENEROSITY WILL RESULT IN THANKSGIVING TO GOD.

General Direction:  That we are blessed to be a blessing; to whom much is given much is required; to understand that God supplies seed to the sower so the sower will have a greater supply to be generous on every occasion, in all things, at all times, having everything we need to advance His Kingdom expanse in earth and eternity.

Scriptures:

  • 9 You are cursed with a curse,For you have robbed Me,Even this whole nation.10 Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, That there may be food in My house, And try Me now in this,” Says the Lord of hosts, “If I will not open for you the windows of heaven And pour out for you such blessing That there will not be room enough to receive it. –Mal. 3:9-12 NKJV
  • Honor the Lord with your possessions, And with the firstfruits of all your increase; 10 So your barns will be filled with plenty, And your vats will overflow with new wine. –Pro. 3:9-10 NKJV
  • 38 Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.” –Lk. 6:38 NKJV
  • 47 And my spirit has rejoiced in God my Savior.48 For He has regarded the lowly state of His maidservant; For behold, henceforth all generations will call me blessed. –LK. 1:47-48 NKJV
  • 10 He who is faithful in what is least is faithful also in much; and he who is unjust in what is least is unjust also in much.11 Therefore if you have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches? 12 And if you have not been faithful in what is another man’s, who will give you what is your own? 13 “No servant can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.” –Lk. 16:10-13 NKJV
  • 7 So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver. –2 Cor. 9:7 NKJV
