R3 Online Prayer, THE TABERNACLE OF GOD IS WITH MEN, Wednesday, October 4, 2017

(Celebrating the Feast of Tabernacles Now and To Come)

Revelation 21:3 KJV

And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, THE TABERNACLE OF GOD IS WITH MEN, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.

Introduction:

The bookends of the Bible bear witness that the living God has always desired to have a people for His very own and for them to choose Him as their God and have Him dwell in them and among them.  The Feast of Tabernacles is this.  It is a reminder of, both, God’s faithfulness in the wilderness, as well as, His faithfulness to return and set up His kingdom reign on the earth.  The term “tabernacle” means to “dwell or live among”: Tabernacles is a time to remember what was and anticipate what will be.  This feast parallel’s with the kingdom of heaven as God dwelt in a portable tabernacle and His people in temporary tents in the wilderness.

Today, we are the tabernacle of the Holy Spirit and His kingdom gains entry for us as we are born again and we gain entrance into His kingdom as we understand surrendering to His rulership and our stewardship to be fruitful, multiply, replenish, subdue, and have dominion over the earth.

The Garden of Eden was a visible manifestation of the kingdom of heaven.  God put man in the Garden then He put the Garden in the man and said “cultivate and keep it”.  Although, man forfeited his rights and privilege, Christ regained them.  Jesus is the King who ushered the kingdom to earth and has been given ownership of the kingdom.  The Holy Spirit is the Governor of the kingdom under Christ’s tutelage from the Father in heaven.

The kingdom preceded the church and will remain after the Church Age is fulfilled.  What we learn from Scriptures is that the kingdom is an incredible matrix for us to increase in our generation.  We are responsible to create conditions, climates, and a culture of His kingdom.  Not only  did Jesus make the kingdom His central theme of teachings He instructed us to daily pray for His kingdom to come and facilitate His kingdom to come by filling the earth as the waters cover the sea.

As we observe the Feast of Tabernacles it behooves us to remember what Jesus said of this day while He was here:  Now the Feast of Tabernacles was at hand…Jesus stood and cried out saying, ‘If any one thirst, let him come to me and drink.  As the Scriptures has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.’ (John 7:2, 37-38)

Today, we come to the fountain to let the River flow for increase of the kingdom in us to expand the kingdom through us in five ways:

  • The Kingdom First and Foremost
  • The Kingdom Conception and Conviction
  • The Kingdom Unshakable and Everlasting
  • The Kingdom and The King
  • The Kingdom Come and To Come

  1. The Kingdom FIRST and FOREMOST

Matthew 6:33 NKJV

But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Luke 9:62 KJV

And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.

General Direction:  To pray into the preeminence of the King and His kingdom on earth and labor in grace to give His kingdom first priority and foremost importance.  For in Him we live and move and have our being.

Scriptures:

  • In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2 The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. 3 Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light. –Gen. 1:1-3 NKJV
  • 5 Now therefore, if you will indeed obey My voice and keep My covenant, then you shall be a special treasure to Me above all people; for all the earth is Mine. 6 And you shall be to Me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.’ These are the words which you shall speak to the children of Israel.” –Ex. 19:5-6 NKJV
  • 12 From the days of John the Baptist until now, the kingdom of heaven has been forcefully advancing, and forceful men lay hold of it. –Mt. 11:11-12 NIV
  • 19 And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.” –Mt. 16:19 NKJV
  • 18 “Assuredly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.19 “Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven. –Mt. 18:18-19 NKJV
  • 13 “But woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you shut up the kingdom of heaven against men; for you neither go in yourselves, nor do you allow those who are entering to go in. – 23:13 NKJV
  • 14 But when Jesus saw it, He was greatly displeased and said to them, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of God.15 Assuredly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will by no means enter it.” –Mk. 10:14-15 NKJV
  • 62 But Jesus said to him, “No one, having put his hand to the plow, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.” –Lk. 9:62 NKJV
  • 32 “Do not fear, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom. –LK. 12:32 NKJV
  • 3 Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” 5 Jesus answered, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. –Jn. 3:3, 5 NKJV
  • 5 which is manifest evidence of the righteous judgment of God, that you may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which you also suffer; –2 Thes. 1:5 NKJV
  • “The Spirit of the Lord Godis upon Me,Because the Lord has anointed MeTo preach good tidings to the poor;He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted,To proclaim liberty to the captives,And the opening of the prison to those who are bound;2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord,And the day of vengeance of our God;To comfort all who mourn,3 To console those who mourn in Zion,To give them beauty for ashes,The oil of joy for mourning,The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; That they may be called trees of righteousness, The planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.”  –Is. 61:1-3 NKJV
  • 38 how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him. –Acts 10: 38 NKJV
  • 3 and said, “Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven. –Mt. 18:3 NKJV

Prayer Points:

  • We need Kingdom alignment; to do will of the Father in the kingdom execution of covering the earth with the glory of the Lord.
  • We cannot enter the kingdom without repentance and entry requires being born again.
  • We reset and preset the kingdom first in everything we are and do.
  • We need practice the kingdom-reality that being fit for the kingdom means we allow the Holy Spirit to develop the kingdom qualities inside of us.
  • We must remember that, as we cannot be double-minded as disciples, we cannot serve two masters of two kingdoms at the same time.
  • That, as it is the Father’s pleasure to give us the kingdom, it is even greater pleasure to honor the kingdom by multiplying, increasing, fruitfulness, and taking dominion in serving it.
  • We must abide in the revelation of the kingdom.

  1. The Kingdom CONCEPTION and CONVICTION

Genesis 1:28 NKJV

Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “BE FRUITFUL and MULTIPLY; FILL THE EARTH and SUBDUE it; HAVE DOMINION over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”

Matthew 11:12 NIV

And from the days of John the Baptist until now THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN HAS BEEN FORCEFULLY ADVANCING,

And FORCEFUL MEN LAY HOLD OF IT.

General Direction: That the Concept of the Kingdom originated in the mind of God and the stewardship of the Kingdom’s quality on earth is determined by the conviction of those who rule in its reign.

Scriptures:

  • For the kingdom is the Lord’s, And He rules over the nations. –Ps. 22:28 NKJV
  • Then saviors shall come to Mount Zion To judge the mountains of Esau,And the kingdom shall be the Lord’s. –Oba. 21

  • 20 Now when He was asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, He answered them and said, “The kingdom of God does not come with observation;21 nor will they say, ‘See here!’ or ‘See there!’For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you.” –Lk. 17:20-21 NKJV

  • God’s desire is to establish the kingdom by sons, not slaves.
  • God’s purpose is to move the kingdom via relationships, not religion.
  • God’s kingdom principle for men to have rulership not ownership of the kingdom and kingdom authority flows through willing submission as sons.

  1. The Kingdom UNSHAKABLE and EVERLASTING

  • 21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. 24 “Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: 25 and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock.  26 “But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand: 27 and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And great was its fall.”  –Mt. 7:21; 24-27 NKJV
  • 18 And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.19 And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.” –Mt. 16: 18-19 NKJV

  • 15 May you be blessed by the Lord, Who made heaven and earth. 16 The heaven, even the heavens, are the Lord’s; But the earth He has given to the children of men. 17 The dead do not praise the Lord, Nor any who go down into silence. –Ps. 115:15-17 NKJV
  • 18 “Assuredly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.19 “Again I sayto you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven.20 For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.”–Mt. 18:18-20 NKJV
  • 6 For unto us a Child is born,Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. 7 Of the increase of His government and peace There will be no end, Upon the throne of David and over His kingdom, To order it and establish it with judgment and justice From that time forward, even forever. The zeal of the Lordof hosts will perform this. –Is. 9:6-7 NKJV
  • 20 Now when He was asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, He answered them and said, “The kingdom of God does not come with observation;21 nor will they say, ‘See here!’ or ‘See there! For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you.” –Lk. 17:20-21 NKJV

  • That there are specific protocols to enter the kingdom, as well as, to advance it, not on the plans of men, but on the purpose of God.
  • That the kingdom is established on hearing the word and doing the word and through obedience the kingdom is built line upon line, precept upon precept, here a little there a little.
  • That the kingdom is within us and from in us is extended in our okiōs, then our community, then expanded to the nations.
  • That Jesus is the king of the kingdom and is King over the floods of earth and has a firm foundation against all winds, rains, and floods of this world.

His dominion is an everlasting dominion, Which shall not pass away, And His kingdom the one Which shall not be destroyed. and asked him the truth of all this. 1. The KINGDOM COME and TO COME

Matthew 6:10 KJV

Revelation 11:15 NKJV

Then the seventh angel sounded: And there were loud voices in heaven, saying, “The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!”

General Direction: To understand that the kingdom cannot go until it has come into us and that through our faithful stewardship the kingdom becomes fruitful, multiplies, and replenishes the earth through our subduing and having dominion.

Scriptures:

  • 14 who  is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory. –Eph. 1:14 NKJV
  • 9 But you are a chosen race, royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, so that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; 10 for you once were not a people, but now you are the people of God; you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy. –1 Pet. 2: 9-10 NASB
  • But if I cast out demons by the Spirit of God, surely the kingdom of God has come upon you. –Mt. 12:28 NKJV
  • 14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come. –Mt. 24:14 NKJV
  • 9 And heal the sick there, and say to them, ‘The kingdom of God has come near to you.’10 But whatever city you enter, and they do not receive you, go out into its streets and say, –Lk. 10:9-10 NKJV
  • The Beatitudes – Mt. 5:1-16 –8 Qualities of the Kingdom within—2 Qualities of the Kingdom without
  • 3 Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” 5 Jesus answered, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. –Jn. 3:3,5 NKJV
  • 3 And he said: “Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little childrenyou will never enter the kingdom of heaven.4 Therefore, whoever takes the lowly position of this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. –Mt. 18:3-4 NIV
  • 12 From the days of John the Baptist until now, the kingdom of heaven has been forcefully advancing, and forceful men lay hold of it. –Mt. 11:11-12 NIV
  • 17 From that time Jesus began to preach and to say, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” 23 And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease among the people. 4:17, 23 NKJV
  • 35 Then Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people. –Mt. 9:35 NKJV
  • 2 And great multitudes were gathered together to Him, so that He got into a boat and sat; and the whole multitude stood on the shore.
  • 3 Then He spoke many things to them in parables, saying: “Behold, a sower went out to sow.4 And as he sowed, some seed fell by the wayside; and the birds came and devoured them. 5 Some fell on stony places, where they did not have much earth; and they immediately sprang up because they had no depth of earth. 6 But when the sun was up they were scorched, and because they had no root they withered away. 7 And some fell among thorns, and the thorns sprang up and choked them. 8 But others fell on good ground and yielded a crop: some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty. 9 He who has ears to hear, let him hear!”10 And the disciples came and said to Him, “Why do You speak to them in parables?”
  • 11 He answered and said to them, “Because it has been given to you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been given.12 For whoever has, to him more will be given, and he will have abundance; but whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him. 13 Therefore I speak to them in parables, because seeing they do not see, and hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand. 14 And in them the prophecy of Isaiah is fulfilled, which says: ‘Hearing you will hear and shall not understand, And seeing you will see and not perceive; 15 For the hearts of this people have grown dull. Their ears are hard of hearing, And their eyes they have closed, Lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, Lest they should understand with their hearts and turn, So that I should heal them.’ 16 But blessed are your eyes for they see, and your ears for they hear;17 for assuredly, I say to you that many prophets and righteous men desired to see what you see, and did not see it, and to hear what you hear, and did not hear it. 18 “Therefore hear the parable of the sower: 19 When anyone hears the word of the kingdom, and does not understand it, then the wicked one comes and snatches away what was sown in his heart. This is he who received seed by the wayside. 20 But he who received the seed on stony places, this is he who hears the word and immediately receives it with joy; 21 yet he has no root in himself, but endures only for a while. For when tribulation or persecution arises because of the word, immediately he stumbles. 22 Now he who received seed among the thorns is he who hears the word, and the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and he becomes unfruitful. 23 But he who received seed on the good ground is he who hears the word and understands it, who indeed bears fruit and produces: some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.” –Mt. 13:2-23 NKJV
  • Virgins, Talents, least of these. –Mt. 25
